‘In summary, this research provides global and age-specific estimates of clinically ascertained morbidity in multiple organ systems in a large systematically evaluated cohort of long-term survivors of childhood cancer tumor. The %age of survivors with 1 or more chronic health conditions prevalent in a adult human population was extraordinarily high. These data underscore the necessity for concentrated monitoring clinically, both for conditions that have significant morbidity if not detected and treated early, such as second center and malignancies disease, and for all those that if remediated can improve standard of living also, such as hearing vision and loss deficits.’..The most common reason behind non-collision injuries among the catchers was a blow to the top by a bat or foul ball. Overall, 28 % of catcher accidental injuries involved the leg, 23 % included the knee and 23 % affected the shoulder. During the research period, catchers sustained 11 concussions. Just two were the result of a collision, the scholarly study found. In 2014, Major League Baseball implemented rule adjustments to lessen collision injuries. The revisions require catchers to permit base runners a clear path to home plate. And runners aren’t allowed to stray off of those paths to collide with a catcher on purpose.
